Introducing the Productive Christian Journal
A 12 Week Guide to Accomplish Your Goals and Grow Your Faith
Do you ever get to the end of another busy day, look back, and wonder what you actually accomplished?
If you’re like most people, your day consists of reacting to whatever comes your way, instead of taking charge of your day.
Plus, you believe in the value of spending time with God every day, but you end up rescheduling more days with God than you meet with him.
It’s a common problem, so we can rationalize that it’s just something that everyone has to deal with. But in reality, your lack of focus and intentionality may be what’s holding you back from accomplishing your greatest hopes and dreams.
The Bible teaches us that we need to be wise and make the best use of our time because the days are evil (Ephesians 5:15-16).
It’s foolish to keep running 100 miles an hour in 100 different directions, reacting to whatever the day throws your way.
If you’re wise, you’ll find a better way to make the best use of your time.
How A Productivity Journal Changed My Life
In 2015, I had a foolish schedule. I was working full-time as a pastor and pulling late nights to get a masters degree in theology.
My wife was also working night shifts as a nurse, and we had two little kids at home. So she had the kids in the morning, I had them after work, and we saw each other somewhere in between.
Worse still, I was unhealthy and miserable because I was doing everything else and not taking care of myself. I was spiritually, physically, mentally, and emotionally drained.
My life felt like it was spiraling out of control. I needed a better way to stay focused on the most important things and still get it all done.
So in 2016, I saw an empty journal on sale in the aisle of a store and had an idea. I began playing around with a productivity journaling system like others I had seen. I found what worked and what didn’t, and made adjustments as I went.
Filling up the pages of my productivity journals over the next few years transformed my life. I started habits of waking up earlier, studying the Bible more, exercising daily, spending more time with my family, and accomplishing some big goals with the little time I had.
I graduated from seminary with honors, wrote a few books, and unexpectedly stepped into God’s call to be a writer.
The journal didn’t do the work for me, but the habit of doing it every day forced me to be more focused and intentional on my goals and the things that would make the greatest impact.
But one day, as I was doing my journal, I realized that I was wasting time every day outlining each blank page from scratch. So with my experience publishing a few books, I decided to make a book that already had my productivity journal pages printed inside.
The result is what I call the Christian Productivity Journal.
I created this for myself because I need it every day. But if you need help getting more done, staying focused on your goals, and starting better habits, it’ll help you too.
The Christian Productivity Journal at a Glace
What makes this journal different than others is that it is centered not just on accomplishing your goal, but also a daily time in God’s Word using a proven Bible study method.
Here’s what it looks like on the inside:
WEEKDAYS (Monday–Friday)
WEEKEND REVIEWS (Saturday / Sunday)
It’s printed like a paperback book, making it easy to carry with you, keep on a shelf, in a drawer, or throw into a bag.
Why is it a paperback, not a fancy, leather-bound book with gold lined pages? I’d have to charge you 3x more to cover printing costs for a fancy cover, and I’d rather make it affordable for everyone.
If you use your journal everyday, the pages will run out and you’ll want another one. You can a years supplu (four) for around the same price as one of some other journals.
Plus, if you’d like to place a bulk order for your church, staff, leaders, small group, or just yourself, contact me, and I can get you an even greater discounted price.
