Introducing the Pro Preacher Podcast
Welcome to the first episode of the Pro Preacher podcast!
This is the first episode of what many weekly episodes about preaching and growing your influence and ability to share the Gospel.
Pro Preacher is a podcast for pastors, preachers, Bible teachers, Christian writers and speakers, or anyone who wants to communicate with greater effectiveness.
In this episode, I talk about overcoming the fear of public speaking, launching a podcast, my story and ministry experience, how ProPreacher.com began, and more.

Key Takeaways
- I’ve been kicking around the idea for this podcast for a long time, and I finally pushed past the fear (similar to stage fright) and hit record.
- If you feel like God might be leading you to do something, and it doesn’t scare you, it may not be from God. But if it is scary, it’s probably from God. He often calls us to embrace fear and do what’s uncomfortable.
- I talk about my background, family, education, and experience in ministry.
- Most preaching fails not for lack of content, but for deficient delivery.
- I talk about how I started ProPreacher.com about six years ago and how it has grown to reach thousands of pastors and over a million views.
- I don’t pretend to be the world’s foremost expert on preaching. I’m still learning and growing, and I hope you’ll join me on the journey. (Subscribe below to never miss an episode).
- I’m working to line up some interviews so you can hear from other pastors and thought leaders. So let me know if there’s anyone you’d like me to interview.

Thank you for making this move for us. I am looking to get the right equipment to make this happen for our ministry
Love the content! Thank you so much. Just a small suggestion from one podcaster to another…the intro & outro music are pretty loud underneath your voice. They need to be mixed a little better I think. Anchor should do this automatically when you add music behind a track.
Hey Frank, thank you for the feedback. My wife pointed out the same thing. Haha. I think you’re both right.
I changed the mix for the third episode so it might be a little better. What do you think?
I’m still new to podcasting so it’s definitely going to be a work in progress. Thanks for the tip.
Thanks Brandon.
You’re welcome, Roy. Glad you like it.
